Nooning Station PAR
A new Public Access Route (PAR) is a 72km long PAR north from Kimba to Nonning Station and would combine well with some of the other 4WD tracks in the region.Pg 52
Secret Rocks PAR
A short PAR of just a few hundred metres gives access to ‘The Secret Rocks’ or ‘Refuge Rocks’ on the main Kimba-Whyalla road about 39km east of Kimba. A walking track and a small camping area are located at the end of the PAR.Pg 64
Googs Track PAR
The northern access to Goog’s Track is now a designated PAR which is 22km long and gives access from the railway line track, south to the Yellabinna Regional Reserve.Pg 70
Gunyah Beach track
The Gunyah Beach track (pg 70) is accessible only to 4WDs. In order to protect the fragile coastal vegetation a series of route markers have been established for 4WDs to follow. Access along Gunyah Beach is limited to 3km each side of where the track joins the beach. Beyond this are important seabird refuge and breeding areas.Pg 78
Access to Talia Beach Headland from Walkers Rock Beach
There is an exclusion zone of at least 10km as part of the Lake Newland Conservation Park along the beach.
There have been countless number of vehicles pulled from the bog on the beach north of Lover’s Rock through to Talia. It is strongly advised not to proceed north of Lover’s Rock.Pg 77
Camping Sites at Walkers Rock
The District Council made available the area near the toilet for camping, any other camp sites have been made illegally by campers.Pg 78

Anyone wishing to camp in the park will need to consult with park staff.Pg 83
