Easy, One Pot Pasta Dishes

How easy is this method of cooking a Pasta Meal. It all goes into the one pot and cooks. No fuss, no stress!! It has to be the easiest pasta meal you will every make, and the ingredients and flavours is up to you. You could also try using different types of pasta, such as tortellini and the like.

A  simple but delicious treat that kids will just love to make on their next camping trip (or even at home).

Great Camping Recipes Using Mince

Easy One Dish Chow Mein

Chow Mein is by definition ‘a Chinese-style dish of fried noodles with shredded meat or seafood and vegetables’.

My version, which is a ‘go to meal’ on our camping trips, is a little different and there’s not a fried noodle in sight. I’ve been making this for well over 40 years and it is a recipe that is in my original hand written recipe book I started back in my late teens. Truth be known I probably got it from my Mum.

Curry Mince with the Lot!!

I’m always looking out for one-dish meals, and this one is a beauty, and one the whole family will enjoy. (Okay, it needs a bed of rice to finish it off, or serve it on toast or in a wrap.) It’s also an inexpensive meal, using minced beef, with lots of veggies. Works well in the camp oven, or on the stovetop.

Versatile, delicious Sponge Fingers

Unibic Sponge Fingers are traditional Italian sponge biscuits (called savoiardi in Italy) that are made to a traditional Italian recipe. This versatile product is the essential ingredient in Italy for making tiramisu, but they can be used in so many other ways.

For campers and travellers, they are great to have in the camp kitchen as they keep so well. Not only that, they are low in fat!!!

Here are just a couple of examples of how to use this great product. Enjoy.
