Quick & Easy 3-ingredient Cooking
What could be better when you are camping than to be able to cook up a meal with just 3 ingredients? Packet and tin soups are great bases to begin with, along with instant pudding mixes. I’ve discovered a few that are quick and tasty and I’m sure you’ll enjoy these easy recipes. They might inspire you to search through your cookbooks and see what else you can come up with.

Marmalade Pork ChopsMarmalade Pork Chops
Serves 4 to 6 (depending on size of the chops)
4 to 6 pork chops
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup soy sauce

Place pork chops into a baking dish or your camp oven.
Combine the marmalade and soy sauce, mix well, and then pour over the chops. Either cook on your stove top or over the fire, or bake on a bed of coals, with some coals added to the lid, for approx 1 hour or until cooked to your liking.
Oven: Bake in a preheat oven to 180∞C and cover the baking dish with foil.
To give it some extra flavour, you could add a little bit of grated orange rind and a little orange juice.

Chocolate LogChocolate Cream Log
A Serves 6
1 pkt Chocolate flavoured Instant Pudding
1 pkt Chocolate ripple biscuits
Grated chocolate or chocolate sprinkles

Prepared pudding as per packet directions and allow to set.
Place a sheet of foil in a long oblong container and spread pudding mix evenly onto each biscuit and sandwich together to form a log.
The container will make it easier to put the log into your fridge.
Leave enough pudding mix to spread over the top of the log.
Chill overnight and serve topped with some grated chocolate or sprinkles.
For a slice, try using chocolate or vanilla wafer biscuits, make a base, evenly spread over about 2/3rds of the prepared pudding mix, top with more biscuits and then finish off with the remainder of the pudding mix and a sprinkling of chocolate sprinkles. Chill for an hour or so if you can, then cut into slices and serve. Top with some whipped cream if you want to be even more decadent.
