HONDURAS
Fancy a colourful frog for your garden, or car ornament! Still the drawcard for Honduras is the Copan Ruins.
Hotel Finca Las Glorias - North of Taulabe
GPS 14° 56' 19"N / 88° 00' 23.6"W
This is a large hotel complex with restaurant/bar, is set on the edge of the Lago de Yojoa.
The camping area is situated near the old hacienda, with toilets/cold showers, 110v power.
Cost US$10 per vehicle/per night.
There is a swimming pool up at the restaurant area.
Wi-fi was available (very intermittedly) around the restaurant.
There's a heap of activities you can do if you want - horse riding, fishing, boat trips.

Haceinda El Jaral
GPS 14° 52' 14.7"N / 89° 03' 27.6"W
approx 12 kms south of Copan Ruins.
Another large hotel/resort complete with water park.
Camping is in a large open grassed area beside the water park.
Facilities include toilets and cold showers (part of the water park), and there is a security guard. Wi-fi, restaurant and bar is available back at the hotel complex, 250m walk away.
